Experience in Conga-playing (intermediate to advanced) is required. Please bring your own intruments (at least two, better three Congas, Cowbell and Agogô). Several congas will be available for those taking the train. Please reserve in advance. |

Nothing
but conga for four days! On one, two or three congas, in duo, trio or
solo, Afro-Brazilian rhythms like Umbanda, Candomblé de Angola,
or different Samba-styles will be taught. Besides the grooves and solo
playing, technique and sound quality will be in the foreground. (slaps,
open tones, muffles, floating hand and independence). Also several songs
will be learned and notes handed out.
